# Import your vehicle log into Carspel

> Bring fuel, service, and trip CSVs into one household garage. Then keep logging energy, Auto Trip, and illustrative tax-year mileage reports.

## What imports

Open **Tools → Import data** in the app. Carspel accepts CSV and Excel.

- **Fuelio and Drivvo:** fuel/energy fills and service rows.
- **TripLog and similar:** trips when date, distance, and category columns map.
- **MileIQ:** trip history CSV into the Carspel trip log. MileIQ does not store fuel or service, so those still come from another export or manual entry.

Import is a one-time copy. It is not a live sync with the other app.

## What Carspel adds after import

- Mixed garage: petrol, diesel, LPG, electric, and plug-in hybrid on Family / Ultimate
- Auto Trip on Family, Ultimate, and Trial (Confirm drafts — not MileIQ swipe-to-classify)
- Live trip on Add trip when Auto Trip is off, paused, or unavailable
- Energy & cost summary reports
- Trip log PDF/CSV for every country, with an *illustrative* allowance column only where a published official table exists
- Vehicle log transfer to a buyer

## Honesty

- Auto Trip is not a drop-in MileIQ clone.
- Basic does not include Auto Trip.
- Allowance figures are illustrative published rates, not a filed deduction and not tax advice.
- Compare Google Play pricing in the user’s country before claiming Carspel is cheaper.
